Action Planning & Team Time Learn the ins and outs of planning a community improvement project that will actually make a difference!!! To get the most out of camp, come with a group of fellow students from your school or community and register as a Team. (1 adult sponsor is required for every 10 students) Once you arrive you will have scheduled meetings with your team and a volunteer camp staffer who will lead you through sessions to create a plan of action to take back to your community. |
Family Groups Get to know yourself and others better when you join your Family Group. Trust-building games and other fun activities will help you learn more about good communication, getting along with others and accepting differences. During Family Group, young people and adults meet every day to talk about challenges in life and issues that they are facing in their own communities. |
Motivational Speakers Get motivated when you hear inspiring thoughts and stories from some of the best speakers in the nation! And we're happy to announce our partnership with Jeff Yalden, who has addressed youth representing over 48 countries, more than 3,500 middle schools, high schools, leadership/youth conferences, colleges and universities. Seventy million viewers watched Jeff in action on MTV's longest-running reality show, MADE. Check out his website and MySpace, and come spend the week with him at EYL Training Camp! |
